Rising Sons 便是美國鄉村樂大師 Ry Cooder 於 1964 年所組成的樂團，當年雖曾推出過單曲，卻不曾錄製正式專輯，樂團也短命地在1966 便解散；時至 1992 年，哥倫比亞才終於將當年錄製的母帶重新發行為這張同名專輯，Ry Coode r本人在專輯中展現了神妙的六弦吉他、十二弦吉他、曼陀林等多種樂器，豐富的藍調、鄉村樂風，對後世無數搖滾樂團都造成了深遠的影響。
